This Art Deco inspired executive home has been designed for a site on the outskirts of Poulton-le-Fylde.
The scheme features many traditional design elements acting jointly with more contemporary forms, together creating an elegant contemporary mansion.
The front elevation is dressed in features of predominantly vertical orientation: from the standing seam metal cladding pattern, through staggered solider course vertical window dividers, to the statement making form of the contemporary and oversized dormers.
The main feature of the house is it’s central spiral staircase, glazed to four sides – offering a view through the house on all levels. The ground floor houses extensive semi-open living areas, with the snug part open to the gallery and study above.
The property is set on a triangular shape site with a largest part of the garden to its side - the rear and side elevations have therefore been designed to visually complement one another. The parapet gables as well as brick features are copied here from the front, the side however features an elegant circular window to the library, separated from the garage by a contemporary stone wall and vertical glazing strip.
This elegant and bold property will soon become a beautiful addition to Poulton-le-Fylde landscape!
