I formed Zub Architecture in 2017 and I'm the former Director and creative part of Carter-Zub Building Consultancy Ltd.
I began my professional career after winning an architectural competition at the University of Salford for the design of Salford FC Club House in 2011. At that point I was offered an opportunity by one of the judges to join AFL Architects - one of the world's leading stadium design practices based in Manchester.
Throughout my career, I was fortunate to work on a variety of projects for clients such as Chelsea Football Club and UEFA when working for AFL Architects. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at AFL working directly under internationally recognised architects and industry experts.
My experience ranges from compact residential and sport schemes, such as Belle Vue Sports Village (National Speedway Stadium) to major international projects, such as Stamford Bridge Stadium redevelopment, Bremford and most recently 90,000 capacity Lusail World Cup Final Stadium in Qatar.
I have always had a passion for bespoke home design, which I began to realise when I left AFL to form Carter-Zub BC and Zub Architecture in 2017.
In 2018, I've moved into Fylde, Lancashire and I'm based in Lytham St.Annes. I admire and take the inspiration from the local period architecture here.
In the last three years, I have designed a number of high-end bespoke residential homes which you can browse through in my projects page.
I'm a great believer in simplicity. One of my favourite architects Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe once said - "Less is more"
